Ford Super Duty Pickup

This was what we called a race car solution – grow the engine so it can breathe better and more efficiently. The previous gas engine was great, but that wasn't enough. So we gave the all-new E85-capable 6.2L engine bigger pistons, bigger intake and exhaust valves, and a larger engine bore diameter. Bigger displacement results in best-in-class torque and horsepower.* But we don't stop there. We also made the 6.2L smarter, delivering class-leading fuel economy with a 15% improvement over the previous engine.†

  • *Power ratings: 385 horsepower; 405 lb.-ft. of torque. Class is full-size pickups over 8,500 lbs. GVWR. †Based on Ford drive-cycle tests of comparably equipped 2011 Ford and 2010 competitive models. Class is full-size pickups over 8,500 lbs. GVWR. see more at http://www.ford.com
