Is it possible that this will be the new Forte sedan ?
KIA-world.net the KIA fan web site has upload some new photos of the new - generation Forte sedan. The new car will be available someday in 2013.
The leaked photos shows the new Forte sedan more sculpted and look more like the big Optima sedan. Also it looks specially in the C-pillar area like the KIA GT - concept. There is no info about what will be under the hood or the interior and we will wait and see if this photos shows the real deal.[via leftlane]
In my opinion i see the new Fort - sedan has a future look.

2012 Kia Picanto 3-door
The Kia Picanto 3-door delivers brand-new 1.0- and 1.25-litre Kappa-family petrol motors that provide fuel economiy as low as 67.3mpg with CO2 emissions as little as 99g/km. The bigger engine is obtainable with Kia’s EcoDynamics fuel-saving technology - an Intelligent Stop & Go engine stop/start system - or, as an alternative, with automatic transmission.
The three-cylinder 1.0-litre unit develops 68bhp and 95Nm of torque. The 1.25-litre four-cylinder engine is obtainable in three guises, all creating 84bhp and 121Nm of torque. In standard type it averages 60.1mpg. Having a four-speed automatic gearbox fuel intake is an outstanding 53.3mpg. Lastly, you have the EcoDynamics version with fuel usage of 65.7mpg.

2011 Kia Soul Specs, Prices, Pics and Reviews
For a guy in his 20s, I am terminally unhip. I checked out this week's Billboard chart toppers, and I remain skeptical that Flo Rida is anything but a Sun Belt state.
Starting MSRP $13,300–$18,495
It's safe to say I am not one of the trendsetters Kia pegged to drive its 2010 Soul, a new hatchback that goes the way of the Scion xB and Nissan Cube. These cars are supposed to be cool.
Is the Soul? Perhaps, but as it turns out, the question is irrelevant. Whatever you think of its styling, it's hard to debate that the car packs a lot of value for the money, even for a value-oriented econohatch. That should appeal to plenty of buyers, hip or not.
Trim levels include the base Soul, Soul+ ("Soul Plus"), Soul! ("Soul Exclaim") and Soul Sport. (I'm sticking with Plus and Exclaim — no symbols, bro.) I tested a Soul Plus with an automatic transmission. All trims come standard with a stick shift; an automatic transmission is not available on the symbol-less base model.

I tested a Soul Plus with an automatic transmission. All trims come standard with a stick shift; an automatic transmission is not available on the symbol-less base model.
Youthful Styling?
Relative to the xB and Cube, the Soul looks the most conventional — a bit like a miniature delivery truck. Compared to any other cars, though, its styling is left-field nutty. Some may decide the bug-eyed headlights and stunted tail have a certain charm. Others may find the whole look too cartoonish to take seriously. I never warmed to it, but most Cars.com editors disagree: It's unique, it's different, they said. It's the sort of look young drivers will go for. While they're listening to Flo Rida, apparently.
At about 162 inches long, the Soul falls halfway between the Cube (156.7 inches) and xB (167.3). Sixteen-inch alloy wheels are standard on the Soul Plus, while the Exclaim and Sport get 18-inch rims — impressive for a sub-$20,000 car.
Inside
If the Cube gets the award for richest interior materials and the xB wins for overall roominess, the Soul comes out ahead in cabin design. Click here for a full rundown on all three interiors. Suffice it to say Kia stuck to conventional shapes, so you won't find the upright facings and hard contours that both competitors employ. This feels distinctly more carlike, and elegantly so: Though the materials are hard to the touch, most have a textured finish that looks entirely respectable. The gauges have high-rent, if uninspired, backlighting, and the A/C dials and turn signals move with sturdy, well-oiled precision. Other areas lapse to econobox standards — the center console armrest is rock-hard, and the flip-down grab handles slam shut — but on the whole, quality is good.
I'm not as enthusiastic about the roominess. Relative to other small hatchbacks, there's less space around the gearshift for your knees to spill out. Headroom is good, even in my moonroof-equipped test car, but the driver's seat has limited range to move forward and back. I'm 5-foot-11, and I could have used an inch or so more rearward travel room. Driver's seat height adjustment is standard on all but the base model, but a telescoping adjustment for the steering wheel is unavailable. Telescoping steering is still rare among small cars, but with cars like the redesigned Honda Fit and Ford's upcoming Fiesta getting it, it's clearly on the rise. So to speak.
The backseat is adult-friendly, though the cushions could sit a bit higher for better thigh support. Amenities are limited: Cupholders are limited to one in each door-pocket cutout, and there's no center armrest, which the Cube offers. Folding the seats down creates 53.4 cubic feet of maximum cargo room, which is decent compared to the larger hatchback field, but less than the Cube and xB offer.

No-Frills Driving
Piloting the Soul is a forgettable experience — it's competent enough to satisfy on the daily commute, but it's never really fun. I found power around town adequate, even with two additional occupants and some light cargo. A 122-horsepower, 1.6-liter four-cylinder goes in the base Soul, which only comes with the five-speed manual transmission. All other trims, including my test car, have a 142-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder. It teams with the five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic.
At higher speeds, a fifth cog in the automatic might help. Its lack is especially noticeable in 30-to-50 mph highway traffic, where 2nd and 3rd trade places frequently: Second gear is clearly at the end of its rope, but 3rd leaves you short on power. I haven't yet driven the Cube, but the xB, which also has a four-speed auto but gets the Camry's 2.4-liter engine, has enough oomph to overcome such issues. Learn More...

2011 Kia Optima SX Turbo Specs, Pics, Prices and Reviews
The turbocharged top-spec version of the handsome new Kia Optima, which shares its powertrain lineup and architecture with the10Best-winning Hyundai Sonata.
The SX comes pretty well stocked, including the direct-injected 2.0-liter turbo four, 18-inch wheels with black-painted pockets, HID headlamps, LED taillights, dual-zone auto climate control, Bluetooth, an LCD in the instrument panel, leather upholstery, and racy body bits.
If you’d like your blown Optima to be less furious-looking—yes, we just called a Kia “furious-looking”—and $1500 cheaper, the EX turbo is your car; it skips the sporty stuff everywhere but under the hood.
Whatever the trim, the Optima is a fine-driving family sedan, and it has more of an enthusiast bent than does the excellent Sonata. The hefty steering is accurate, turn-in response is quick, and the suspension keeps a tight rein on body motions over bumps and during transient maneuvers. All Optimas have a suspension that can be described as firm, but the SX’s firmer dampers go another notch. The setup can make for a chopped, harsh ride; you might consider the Hyundai—or at least a lesser Optima—if you live anywhere with crappy roads.

The setup can make for a chopped, harsh ride; you might consider the Hyundai—or at least a lesser Optima—if you live anywhere with crappy roads.
The 274-hp, 2.0-liter turbo four with 269 lb-ft of torque is silky smooth and punches hard enough to send the 3500-pound Optima to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds and through the quarter in 15 flat. Turbo response is basically seamless, which is excellent for drivability but bad if you want to stay out of it to improve fuel economy—we achieved 20 mpg with our Optima, below the 22 mpg city and 34 mpg highway EPA ratings. The six-speed automatic shifts smoothly, and the SX has steering-wheel-mounted paddles if you feel like playing F1 on the way to Froyo.
Like the Sonata, the Optima proves that you don’t need a V-6 to have a good time. This turbo is among the quickest in its class; a 272-hp V-6 Mazda 6 and a turbo Sonata were quicker, at 6.1 and 6.2 seconds to 60. (The Mazda weighed some 70 more pounds than this Kia, and the Sonata weighed 110 fewer.) But the design and materials in the Optima’s cabin are a step above the Mazda’s, as well as those of most of the Kia’s competition. The crisp exterior looks more upscale than most mid-size sedans’ and isn’t too polarizing—the latter is key for this segment. We also really like cool details such as the cutout at the top of the windshield that echoes Kia’s corporate grille.
For those who like to drive, the Optima and the 6 are the most satisfying mid-size sedans, with the Honda Accord and Sonata just behind. Relative to that lot, everything else in the segment is automotive applesauce.
What’s the Cost?
Our whole-hog Optima test car rang in at $30,840, which consisted of the $26,690 base price plus the $2000 Technology and $2150 Premium Touring packages. The latter includes a big sunroof, a power front-passenger seat, driver’s-seat memory, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and different 18-inch wheels. (If you prefer the look of the standard rollers, you can spec a Premium package without new wheels for the same $2150.) Ordering the Premium upgrades is a must to get the Tech pack, which adds a nav system, a rearview camera, and an upgraded Infinity stereo. A V-6 Accord or a six-cylinder Ford Fusion outfitted like our Optima SX would cost at least an additional $1900; value is still a significant part of the Kia equation. Taken with the rest of the car, that adds up to a winner in our book.

2011 Kia Sportage SX Turbo AWD Specs, Pics, Prices and Reviews
That Kia continues to assemble ever-better-performing, more-competitive, more-attractive products should be news to no one. That a small crossover is the Korean brand’s quickest vehicle might take you by surprise.
It did us. But it’s true: Since the 1994 Sephia landed stateside, no Kia has hit 60 mph in fewer ticks of the second hand than this new turbocharged Sportage.
A midyear addition to the lineup, the SX gives the otherwise competent Sportage that which it lacked: haste. Its 260-hp, 2.0-liter direct-injected turbo four is a detuned version of the one available in the Optima.
With optional all-wheel drive dispersing 269 pound-feet of torque, the Sportage reaches 60 in 6.1 seconds. It’s quicker to that mark—by 2.8 seconds—than a 170-hp, 2.4-liter Sportage with all-wheel drive. Quicker, by 0.3 second, than the lighter, 274-hp Optima SX sedan.

None of the Kia’s all-wheel-drive little-ute peers is as fleet, including the segment’s former top sprinter, the Toyota RAV4. All turbocharged Sportages come with a six-speed automatic transmission. Its quick, smooth actions help the crossover live up to the first five letters of its name without sacrificing comfort.
Unfortunately, Kia is making a bad habit of exclusively pairing the engine we prefer with a “sport-tuned” suspension. Even though no stiffening of the already firm setup was warranted, Kia tightened the calibrations anyway. The SX’s suspension is composed but not compliant.
Dual exhaust outlets, a barely scrutable T-GDI badge—that’s “turbocharged gasoline direct injection,” for the faint of scruting—and a less chrome-y grille are the only turbo identifiers on the exterior. Sportages in SX trim come with everything from the formerly top-spec EX, adding $2500 to the sticker for the stiff ride and the stout engine.
At a base price of $27,990 for an AWD version, it’s more than a bit expensive. Our test vehicle arrived loaded with the $1500 Navigation option, which includes an upgraded audio system, and the $3000 Premium package (leather upholstery, heated seats, a backup warning system, a panoramic sunroof, a fan-cooled driver’s seat, and more). Throw in a $75 cargo mat, and pretty soon you’re talking about real money ($32,565, specifically). Expensive, yes, but the SX is sufficiently sportaged. Learn More...

2011 Kia Optima Sport Sedan
The 67 year old company is doing wonders from a nutshell and it's a fact that over the times KIA has been observed by giving the toughest of competition to other brands in the market. And it is clear with the fact that the annual revenue of the company goes to around $14.6 billion USD.
The Americans over whelmed with the class and charm of the company when the first Kia-branded vehicles in the United States were sold from four dealerships in Portland, Oregon in February 1994. The journey began with the introduction of Sephia, and a few years later the United States line expanded with the addition of the Sportage.

2012 Kia-KV7 Concept
After two teaser shots and a couple of leaked images earlier today, Kia’s “activity MPV” concept, the KV7, finally hit the showroom floor at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show.Designed to challenge the notion that minivans are strictly for transporting people, the KV7 stands out with its boxy design and, according to the Koreans, also wants to serve as a “connected social hub for groups of friends and adventure-seekers”.

“From the outset, we felt the category was in need of an honest reassessment due to the fact that everyone seems so desperate to attach the word “sporty” to their MPV even though MPVs, at their very core, are simply a box”, said Tom Kearns, Chief Designer, Kia Motors America. “Rather than reject the box we chose to celebrate it, just like we did with the Soul, and the result is a straightforward yet sophisticated vehicle that retains the functionality MPVs are known for and meets the changing and diverse needs of today’s consumers”.

New 2010 Kia-Optima is a Powerful cars

In its third model year (2003), the Optima's front end was restyled, which gave it a more upscale European look. In addition, Kia began to offer Sportmatic manual-shift capability on four-cylinder automatic Kia Optimas. The biggest improvement of the new Kia Optima is its exterior look. Unlike the previous generation of Optima's, this vehicle is actually based on the Hyundai Elantra HD (2007-) platform. Like the Sonata, the Optima is also longer and taller than the previous model and has a longer wheelbase. The differences between the Optima and Sonata are mostly in styling details, though the Kia is priced at $500 less.

Kia Motors With Kia Optima launched
Inside, Kia makes word of new trim and color options as well as additional features. There are no mechanical upgrades as the South Korean market Lotze will continue to be offered with the same four-cylinder engine lineup as before that includes a 2.0-liter unit with 163-horsepower and a 2.4-liter with 179-horsepower.

For the individuals that were discouraged by the lack of choices in the past, one of the 2010 Kia Optima Engine Options is a 2.7 Liter V6 engine that is designed to please. The engine produces 194 horsepower and 184 pound feet of torque and offers somewhat better acceleration than the smaller 2.4 Liter V4. The fuel economy delivered by the larger engine, however, is somewhat lower and is an estimated 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The 2010 Kia Optima 2.6 Liter V6 engine may not compete with some of the other V6 motors found in other sedans, but it is definitely lower priced as well.

Ever see a TV car commercial and wonder what the song was? I have and I know you have too! The song may be catchy, a great cover or for whatever reason you have to know the song and probably run out to buy it. I've searched myself for these songs and had a hard time hunting them down. Therefore, I've decided to share my findings with you so we can all stop wracking our brains trying to figure out the song title and artist.

Many prospective buyers have avoided some of the sedans made by Kia due to the lack of available motor choices, but the 2010 Kia Optima Engine Options are far less limited and even could be considered impressive. The standard engine for the 2010 model has not changed significantly from 2009 and remains the 2.4 Liter V4 that delivers 175 horsepower and 169 pound feet of torque. The fuel economy is fairly competitive within its class and is an estimated 22mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Both a five speed manual and a five speed automatic are available to match with the motor and fuel economy increases slightly with the manual as does acceleration.
